My Approach and Therapeutic Modalities
I take a holistic approach to therapy—because real healing involves your mind, body, and soul. Every session is tailored to you and what you need most in that moment. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a space that feels safe and real. I’m not here to give advice, but to ask the kind of deep questions that help you find your own answers.
-
CBT helps you notice and reframe unhelpful thoughts that may be affecting your mood or behavior. It’s about learning new ways to think, so you can feel and live better.
-
Mindfulness is the practice of slowing down and being fully present. It helps you find calm, manage stress, and reconnect with yourself in the middle of life’s chaos.
-
EMDR helps you heal from painful or traumatic experiences by allowing your brain to safely process old memories. Over time, those memories lose their emotional intensity, giving you more peace and freedom.
-
Person-Centered Therapy focuses on you as the expert of your own life. My role is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, grow, and reconnect with your authentic self.
-
ACT helps you accept what’s out of your control while taking action toward what truly matters to you. It’s about learning to live with more flexibility, purpose, and self-compassion.
